This release focuses on the bathroom estimate — making the numbers more accurate out of the gate, building tile showers the way they are actually installed, and giving every estimate a clear original-versus-working version history.

More accurate shower and bathroom quantities​

We tightened the quantity logic so a small shower no longer estimates like a whole room (#2200, #2201, #2203):

  • Shower dimensions like "34x34" are read as inches, not feet.
  • Shower-pan items use a small pan minimum instead of the room's minimum floor area.
  • Scope items no longer inflate lump-sum or area lines — fixed-scope assemblies stay at the correct quantity instead of being multiplied, which removes the runaway material totals some bathroom estimates were showing.
  • Whole-room flooring is no longer added to a shower-only job. If you did not ask for new room flooring, the AI will not quietly add a full room of it. Ask for flooring explicitly when you want it.
  • "To the studs" / "already gutted" notes suppress demolition. If the space is already torn out, you are no longer charged to demo it again.

Tile showers now build the full Schluter Kerdi system​

When your scope describes a tile shower, the estimate now includes the complete Schluter Kerdi assembly — Kerdi base, curb, drain, and waterproofing kit (with integrated waterproofing), Schluter trim, backerboard, and wall/floor tile plus grout — instead of a single generic membrane line (#2204). The estimate you send reflects the materials and labor a tile pro would actually use.

Original (V1) vs. working (V2) estimate versions​

Every estimate now keeps a clear, recoverable history (#2202):

  • The initial generation is saved as Version 1 (V1) — immutable, always viewable, and pinned as your baseline.
  • The first edit forks a Version 2 (V2) working copy, so your original AI estimate is never overwritten.
  • You can list all versions, open any single version, and compare two versions side by side to see exactly what changed.

Pricing you can trust​

Behind the scenes, every unit cost is pulled from the best available source — your own logged actuals first, then a region-adjusted cost book covering both labor and material, with sensible fallbacks below that (#2205). The more real jobs you log, the more your estimates price the way you price.
