Team Performance

The Team Performance dashboard gives you visibility into how each person on your team is performing — how many estimates they are building, what they are closing, and how efficiently jobs are being dispatched and scheduled.

Use this report to recognize top performers, coach team members who need support, and make smarter decisions about who handles which types of jobs.

note

Team Performance data is only available on the Professional and Business plans. If you are on the Starter plan, this section will not appear in your Analytics menu. See Account and Billing to upgrade.

Team performance dashboard with KPI cards for each team member

Technician KPI Dashboard

The KPI dashboard is the main view in Team Performance. It shows one row per team member with their key metrics for the selected period.

  1. Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Team Performance tab at the top of the Analytics section.

KPI Table

Each row in the KPI table represents one active team member. The columns show:

ColumnWhat it measures
Team MemberName and role
Estimates CreatedNumber of estimates built in the period
Estimates SentNumber of estimates sent to clients
Accepted ValueTotal dollar value of accepted estimates
Close RatePercentage of sent estimates that were accepted
Avg. Estimate ValueAverage size of estimates created
Avg. Response TimeAverage time between estimate creation and send
Jobs CompletedNumber of jobs marked complete in the period

Click any column header to sort by that metric.

Metrics Tracked

Estimating Activity

Estimating activity metrics measure how productive each team member is in the quoting process:

  • Volume: How many estimates are they creating? A low count may mean they need more leads, or they are spending too long on each quote.
  • Speed: How quickly do they turn around an estimate after a client inquiry? Faster response times correlate with higher close rates.
  • Send Rate: What percentage of estimates they create get sent to clients? A low send rate might mean many estimates are abandoned before completion.

Close Performance

Close performance metrics focus on winning work:

  • Close Rate: The single most important sales metric. Compare each team member's close rate to the company average.
  • Accepted Value: Total revenue attributed to estimates they created (regardless of who delivers the job).
  • Lost Reasons: When an estimate is declined, you can log a reason (price, timing, competition, etc.). This is aggregated per team member so you can identify patterns.

Job Completion

Job completion metrics track the execution side of the business:

  • Jobs Completed: Jobs assigned to this team member that were marked complete.
  • On-Time Rate: Percentage of jobs completed by the scheduled date.
  • Change Orders: Number of change orders generated on their jobs. A high rate may indicate scope definition issues during estimating.

Filtering by Team Member and Date

Selecting a Team Member

To view detailed metrics for one person:

  1. Click their name in the KPI table.
  2. A detail panel opens on the right showing their full stats for the selected period.
  3. From the detail panel, click View Full Profile to open a dedicated page for that team member.

The full profile page shows all the same metrics in expanded chart form, plus a timeline of their recent estimates and jobs.

Filtering the Table

Above the KPI table, use the filter controls to narrow the view:

  • Team Member — Multi-select dropdown. Choose one or more specific people, or filter by role (Estimator, Technician, Foreman).
  • Date Range — Same date range picker used across Analytics. Applies to all metrics on the page.
  • Project Type — Filter to see performance on specific types of work (roofing, HVAC, etc.).

All filters work together. For example, you can see each estimator's close rate on roofing jobs in Q1.

Saving a Filter View

If you frequently use the same filter combination (for example, "all technicians, last 30 days, roofing only"), save it as a view:

  1. Set your filters.
  2. Click Save View next to the filter bar.
  3. Give the view a name.
  4. The view appears in the Saved Views dropdown for fast access in future sessions.

Comparing Performance

Side-by-Side Comparison

To compare two or more team members directly:

  1. Check the checkbox next to each person in the KPI table.
  2. Click Compare Selected at the top of the table.
  3. A comparison panel opens with all selected team members shown side by side.

The comparison view shows each metric as a bar chart so differences are immediately visible. Hover over any bar for the exact value.

Benchmarks and Averages

The KPI table includes a Company Average row at the bottom. This shows the mean value for each metric across all active team members, giving you a benchmark to compare individuals against.

tip

Sort by Close Rate and look at the top and bottom performers. Interview your top closer about their process — often there are simple techniques that can lift the whole team.

Click Trend View at the top of the Team Performance tab to switch from the KPI table to a trend chart view. In trend view:

  • Each team member is a line on the chart.
  • The Y-axis shows the selected metric (use the dropdown to switch between close rate, volume, accepted value, etc.).
  • The X-axis shows time.

Use trend view to see whether performance is improving, declining, or holding steady over time.

Dispatch Efficiency

Dispatch efficiency metrics help you understand how well jobs are being assigned and scheduled.

What Dispatch Efficiency Measures

MetricDescription
Utilization RatePercentage of available working hours filled with scheduled jobs
Avg. Jobs per DayAverage number of jobs dispatched to a technician per day
Travel TimeEstimated travel time between jobs (based on job addresses)
Schedule GapsNumber of unscheduled gaps of more than 2 hours in a tech's day
Reschedule RatePercentage of jobs that were rescheduled after initial dispatch

Reading the Dispatch Chart

The dispatch chart shows a week-at-a-glance view for each technician. Each day is a bar representing their scheduled workload. The bar fills as jobs are added:

  • Green — On track; 70–90% utilization.
  • Yellow — Under-utilized (below 70%) or approaching capacity (90–100%).
  • Red — Over-capacity; jobs may need to be reassigned.

Click any bar to see the full schedule for that technician on that day.

Improving Dispatch Efficiency

Use the dispatch data to spot recurring inefficiencies:

  • Low utilization on certain days — Consider adjusting your marketing or scheduling policies for those days.
  • High travel time — Group jobs by geography. The system can flag when a newly added job is far from a tech's other jobs that day.
  • High reschedule rate for a specific tech — Investigate whether the causes are client-driven or internally driven.

Exporting Team Performance Data

Like other Analytics reports, team performance data can be exported:

  1. Navigate to Team Performance.
  2. Apply filters as needed.
  3. Click Export → choose CSV, PDF, or XLSX.

Exported files include all columns visible in the current table view, plus any hidden columns (selectable in the column picker before exporting).
